“Property was quiet host was great a bit small downstairs but upstairs was special and spacious Great Indian restaurant nearby”

“The Gun Room was very nicely kitted out. The kitchen had everything we needed. Bedroom was very comfortable and bright. One thing I would say is that the sofa is very small and not very comfortable! There is however a TV in the bedroom for lounging. The outside space is lovely and we had some great weather to enjoy it. We had our dog with us so the garden was great but the road was very busy so for a longer walk we had to go in the car. ”

“It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs.”

“Great stay. Lovely pod with everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Stone circle and pub walkable from the pod. The completely enclosed garden was great for the dog. ”

“We had a lovely time in this beautiful house - there was plenty of living space for the whole group to spread out and we loved having a big group dinner in the grand dining room. The house is old and some niggles are to be expected (minor cobwebs, loose doorknobs, a couple of chipped mugs) and they definitely didn't take away from our love for the place (and shouldn't deter anyone else!).”

“Myself and my partner stayed here with our 1 year old for 2 nights for my birthday. The location is perfect if you want to park your car and not use it all weekend! There is either one space at the back of the property and you pay a deposit for a permit or there's a manned multi story car park just over the road. Everything you could want is in walking distance and there are plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants to chose from. The house itself is a cross 3 floors but very comfortable and ideal……

“Ideal for us grandparents and our two children and their families. May not appear close but is in fact just a few minutes walk along a beautiful canal to the village centre. Super village, good riverside pub, plenty to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed out visit to Plas Newydd, in Llangollen.”

“Although being an Expedia Platinum member, and this is a VIP signature property, it was unfortunate not to receive the benefits provided by my membership! However, not to overshadow our stay. The staff are very polite and the service was good. The room and amenities were good. The gym & spa are exceptional, with very helpful and attentive staff. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and I would recommend the hotel to anybody looking for a relaxing atmosphere. ”
