“As basic as they get. Just enough to meet your needs for 1 or 2 nights. The price felt fair for what you got…a bed, shower and tv. Having said that, the mattress needs replacing and the shower had no soap in it.”

“The swimming pool is out of order at the moment. was not notified of this when booking only a couple of days before I arrived. I was allocated room 56. Make sure you don’t get this room unless there is a heatwave. It was so cold that I had to ask to be moved during the night. The radiator does not appear to work in the room. I stayed for 3 nights, two of which had road closures outside the hotel . On the Sunday the road was closed from 7 am to 1 pm so could not leave unless you walked - and……

“The photos and overall rating of this hotel is a lie. I believe it was once a nice hotel but it is no longer. After a long wait at reception ringing the bell we was greeted by a man wearing blue gloves that he had just been cleaning with in scruffy clothes who took us to an uncleaned room with sticky bathroom floor, dead insects and used towels. The bed looked to have collapsed on one side and the code to room was a very secure of the room number followed by 2 zeros. We sought alternative……
