“Staff so friendly and helpful. Found room quite warm in the day but in evening was able to open windows fully to get some air in (stayed in April). I imagine would be very hot in summer even with fan provided in room. Walls are very thin, not a problem for me as thankfully my neighbours were quiet but I know other people were not so lucky. Was able to do me a vegan breakfast in the morning which I was happy with. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a good value place to stay. ”

“We loved our stay with Elvira and David. They were gracious, kind and welcoming hosts! Our room was lovely, with one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. The food was amazing!! Breakfast in the lovely conservatory was truly spectacular with fresh fruit, croissants and a piping hot breakfast. We would highly recommend a stay with David and Elvira!!”

When we got to our room, it was lovely, though I was still slightly unsure because you could hear people in the main house, and I wasn’t certain about privacy or whether anyone could enter our room. “The room appeared quite freshly refurbished. The bathroom had quite a lot of mould in and around shower. It needed a good scrub and it would have been fine. Staff were friendly and courteous. Bar staff worked hard at a very busy party.”
