“The bathroom had mold. The ceiling tiles are broken. The room really needs a refurb. The main door is broken and sometimes doesn't open or opens very slowly. I've stayed at much better maintained premier inns in the past so this was a huge disappointment.”

“Staff so friendly and helpful. Found room quite warm in the day but in evening was able to open windows fully to get some air in (stayed in April). I imagine would be very hot in summer even with fan provided in room. Walls are very thin, not a problem for me as thankfully my neighbours were quiet but I know other people were not so lucky. Was able to do me a vegan breakfast in the morning which I was happy with. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a good value place to stay. ”

“We loved our stay with Elvira and David. They were gracious, kind and welcoming hosts! Our room was lovely, with one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. The food was amazing!! Breakfast in the lovely conservatory was truly spectacular with fresh fruit, croissants and a piping hot breakfast. We would highly recommend a stay with David and Elvira!!”

“At first, we felt a bit hesitant since it was someone’s house and there weren’t any clear signs—we just walked onto the property. When we got to our room, it was lovely, though I was still slightly unsure because you could hear people in the main house, and I wasn’t certain about privacy or whether anyone could enter our room. “11pm late check in staff left a key in a safe which was great but when we got to the room the door was actually ajar which is worrying when the rooms are accessed from outside and the car park is a car charging area with random people turning up all night. On the face of it clean and modern but very quickly you ca see the neglect. Bathroom very mouldy, broken internal window pane with sharp glass uncovered. The room was a first floor room accessed from a walkway to all the first floor rooms and……
