“We booked this property for end of September 2024 based on the reviews we read and we liked the look of the pool area. We was not disappointed. The staff were excellent and every request was met with a speedy response and the hotel was very clean. The pool was great with stunning views. However, to have these views you have to be prepared to climb some hills. Yes it was hard work but well worth the effort as the view is simply beautiful. “The 2 bedroom apartment we booked was quite spacious but sparsely decorated. The best thing of the accommodation was the lovely balcony and the view over towards the airport runway. The apartment itself had no cooker, toaster, coffee maker and very little cutlery and kitchenware. It also has a lot of steps up the front which is not well documented in the write up. Not at all good for even slightly less able people. ”

“Cute village. Swimming pool area is cute and relaxing. Bus stop is nearby. the Village is on the hill so has good view but need to walk up all the way and many stairs. in the case ur knee is not strong, check the room location in advance with to hotel. During the stay, hot water was not stable nor controllable so I and my friend both got scald bc very hot water comes out all of sudden almost every 2mins. It was repeating. ”

“Great location! The property was clean, basic rooms but cleaned daily and towels and sheets changed regularly. Air con was a bonus. Pool area great for Skiathos town. “Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast.
