Leo and Lou were really friendly, chatty and accommodating. They clearly go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The steps were a bit of a shock for us on arrival as I'm 6 months pregnant and the steps were a bit much with no railing, however, like the other reviews, the view was incredible. When we mentioned to Leo about the steps he did offer to pick me up after our day trips which was very nice of him but I didn't want to make a fuss!
The room was really clean but we lacked privacy in the room we had as it opened out onto the terrace meaning the bathroom shutters remained closed for the duration of our stay making it very dark, and people sat on the bench directly outside of our bedroom window to get wifi and the view. There was no tea and coffee making facilities in our room, no full length mirror and no shelf in the shower for shampoo etc which is a little more difficult with a bump!! If we were to return, we would opt for different room despite the fact it probably has the best view! :-) My husband found the cats a bit much!
This place is great if you want a quiet get away. It's seems like it attracts like-minded people, everyone was very friendly and polite. There was no TV in the room but plenty of books to read.
We would recommend a drive to Sestre Levante for both evening and day. It's a 30 minute drive but well worth it. We also had a lovely lunch at Vera Napoli in Chiavari - definitely a must!
