“The chalet was the perfect stay for us to explore Tongoriro National Park. The park turnoff was 15 minutes away. The National Park town has numerous dining options with a number of places that have incredible outdoor views. The turn is small and walkable and very safe and quiet! The chalet was well equipped with comfortable beds and also has great views of the surrounding areas and the volcanoes along with Mt Doom from Lord of the Rings! Our hosts were communicative and answered our questions……

“Great Communication There were 18 of us so well worth it for the price of just a little over $20 a night each. Fireplace is awesome but down it the bathroom was very cold! If you like the basics then you will be fine. Be prepared to give it a little bit of a clean wipe down when you arrive as there was evidence of rodents. Other then that great place.”
