COVID-19 UPDATE: If you are feeling like you need a change of scenery to maintain your sanity, we are here and committed to keeping our properties clean, sanitized and safe for you to enjoy. Situated on 8 acres, it's the perfect place to practice social distancing, while still experiencing a private staycation of sorts. While we always do our best to maintain a clean and sanitary place to get away, we are following all precautionary measures as recommended by the CDC for your safety and comfort. Our housekeeping staff is using disinfectant wipes and sprays on all surfaces, while paying extra attention to frequently touched surfaces. Bleach has been added to our normal floor cleaning solution when mopping. Our sheets and towels are always washed on a hot water cycle with a bleach additive. Pillows and mattresses (once stripped) and all couches are also sprayed with Lysol. Extra attention is being spent on handles, knobs, countertops, fixtures, faucets, towel bars, switch plates, trash receptacles etc. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns! Leiper's Fork Restaurants are serving take out meals.
Storybook Cottage sits on eight acres in Leiper's Fork, just a short scenic thirty minute drive south of Nashville in the best community in the area. The close proximity makes it a perfect getaway for recording artists and entertainment professionals looking for peace and quiet during their stay in Nashville. The Natchez Trace Parkway is a little over a mile away and is perfect for hiking, biking, horseback riding and scenic drives and 'Main Street' in Downtown Franklin is just a short twelve mile drive.
The Cottage features cathedral ceilings, one bedroom, plus loft and one bathroom with just over 800 sq ft of living space. The master bedroom has a king size bed, while the loft features two twin size beds. In addition to the one full bathroom, there is a charming, private, outdoor shower off the back enclosed porch. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, from a bottle opener to pots and pans, baking dishes to forks and knives. You can look forward to enjoying a cup of coffee on the back enclosed porch, reading a book or taking a nap in the hammock and making s'mores over the crackling fire in the outdoor fire pit. For any who've never experienced an outdoor shower... do, do, do. There's something uniquely special about showering outside in the midst of nature, the sounds and fresh air.
DirecTV and a selection of DVD’s. are available for your viewing pleasure. A washer and dryer are also available for your use.
*Please note that due to the incline of the stairs, the loft is not suitable for young children. There is a queen sleeper sofa for your use.
