5 Minute Walk to Downtown Mystic Drawbridge

This charming 1816 home is just a 5 minute walk to the Mystic Drawbridge and the marinas where you can dock your boat. There is a large porch to relax on during the day, overlooking the garden. Perfect for people watching while sipping a mimosa! The yard is fully fenced in, so your furry friend is free to roam. We are near dozens of restaurants and shopping, just a short drive to Watch Hill beaches, and 20 minutes to the casinos. This is the perfect Mystic getaway for a romantic weekend, family time, or a friends trip. Please note before booking and read the reviews:
The house is located on a main road and is noisy when trucks go by, and backing out of the driveway is hard. There’s free parking across the street if you prefer. It’s a very old house (1816), and so the staircase to upstairs is narrow, and the ceilings are on the lower side.

There are 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The bedrooms and full bath are upstairs and half bath is downstairs.

Cute New England home
Quaint old house very close to downtown Mystic. Wonderful porch that we spent a lot of time on. If you’re looking for an older home full of charm this is it. Walking distance to shops and dining. Property is located on a very busy street with off street parking. Host very friendly and easy to work with.

Very clean and convenient!
The house is within easy walking distance to Mystic's downtown. We'd walk to dinner, grab an ice cream, and visit the bookstore. The porch has comfortable seating--we spent two nights out there chatting and resting. The kitchen is terrific! And the coffee maker is easy to use!

Short walk to downtown Mystic in a lovely historic home
Welcoming historic home within a short walk to all the best of everything in downtown Mystic. Wonderful front porch with comfortable furniture, perfect for a morning cup of coffee, breakfast, lounging, book reading, drinks... you name it! The beautiful small yard/garden in front of the porch is shaded and well taken care of. My small dog appreciated the fenced-in room to roam, and the surprise of a few well-loved dog toys under flowers! Well-equipped modern kitchen, lots of space for whipping up food for my group. A small half bath – (sink and toilet) off the kitchen is convenient. Did not use the outside grill - but nice that it was available. Cookware, dishes, utensils and glasses were plenty for my group of 4. Soap, towels, sponges, and cleaning supplies all available. Thoughtfully filled Brita with cold water in the fridge on arrival, and coffee, tea, creamer and spices in the cabinets. Immaculately clean! Games and puzzles on the bookshelf, and a big table to play on in the dining room. Small but comfortable LR with leather couch. TV never went on - but it was there! Bedrooms all upstairs - clean and comfortable. Stairs are predictably narrow and steep as fitting this historic home. No central air, but AC window units downstairs and in all bedrooms kept us super cool on a very hot few days. The bathroom upstairs is small but has everything we need for 4 adults, including lots of clean linens. VERY comfortable beds, soft sheets and ample pillows. Driveway

Coast Guard Academy visit
This property is very convenient for a visit to USCGA as well as walking distance to all of the wonderful restaurants and shops in Mystic. Highly recommend renting here. Kitchen is well stocked, porch and family room are comfortable. Owner is exceptionally responsive. The house is on a very busy street, getting out of the driveway is dangerous. We worked around it by parking on a side street just a few steps from the front door.

Mystic mini getaway
The home is perfectly located to all the places you would want to walk to. The home was clean and and the directions were clear. I would love to come back to this home with my family. I also appreciated being able to do a night rental during the busy season. I appreciated being able to park right on the property and was able to navigate getting in and out safely but it's important to be patient as it's a busy road which the owner was very upfront about. With it being a busy road, It was still comfortable inside and outside noise was never a problem.

We stayed here for my son’s graduation. It was perfect: Very clean, well stocked with necessities, and comfortable. It was a real perk to be able to bring our 2 small dogs and have a fenced in backyard. The porch is a lovely place to hang out. Communication and logistics were excellent. I highly recommend!

We loved staying at this home in Mystic. The location was perfect. We walked into town and had dinner and breakfast. The house was perfect for us. We sat on the porch and relaxed.
