I booked this stay based on reviews exclaiming how clean this place was and because it was close to the location of my daughter’s dance competition. It got the job done and gave us a place to lay our heads at night after some long days. The space shows its age for sure and attempts to update it definitely cut corners (think poorly flipped houses). The card for pest control service was left on the counter indicating a recent visit, but my husband killed a cockroach within minutes of walking in; luckily that was the only one we saw during our stay. There were large pieces of confetti scattered around the condo, which could have easily been removed by simply sweeping or vacuuming. Notable dust clung to the master bath walls at eye level. The fixtures in the showers were old and I’m not sure a deep cleaning had ever been done, based on the amount of gunk and mold on them. And there was an odd, dank odor that permeated the condo. The couch was incredibly hard, but the mattresses were even harder. Hosteeva did send me a text offering to extend my stay for only $60, which ended up being a positive because I woke up incredibly sick the morning of checkout and certainly couldn’t make the 10am checkout. Like I said, it got the job done, but I don’t think I’d stay again.
