"It was more comfortable than I taught. For the price of each night, it exceeded it. A walking distance to the train station. It’s clean, easy to locate. Direction on how to access the building was clear. The room was sizeable, although it a shred bath and toilet, they were clean. I will recommend if you are staying a night or two."

"This was the perfect size and location for our short stay in Oxford. There is a bus stop directly outside of your door and it takes you right into town. Also super easy to catch a bus right back to where you’re staying! The host was extremely helpful and responsive. It also sits in a nice walkable neighborhood. Highly recommend! "

"My colleague and I stayed here during a 4 day conference in Oxford. It was so nice to have a tranquil retreat to return to every day. We made full use of the kitchen which was well equipped. If you want a hotel-like place do not stay here. For us, it was perfect--a short walk from Oxford city centre, quiet, and backed up to a lovely creek and fields. (Of note... the seat cushions of the couch were constantly sliding off toward the floor. It was old but covered in a nice and clean blanket.)"

"Clean, modern, well equipped and comfy, good location not far from park and ride. Only very very slight glitch was that it isn't immediately obvious where the keypad is for the front door; an older one has been covered up and I didn't notice the buttons on the handle itself until I'd tried the old one - but I got there. "The property was in excellent condition and stocked with everything we needed. The house was spacious and comfortable for six of us. Idyllic, friendly village with good access to local tourist spots. Host was quick to help during our stay. Can’t recommend it enough. "

It's remote enough to see the stars in the hot tub on a clear night, but has a lot of towns and villages around to drive to for days out, plus local walks which were detailed in the welcome book. We mostly stayed cocooned in the cottage as it's so warm and snug. The cottage is situated in a working horse riding stable so during the day people are coming and going in front of the cottage as they arrive and depart, so...

"The property is well situated - Plantation Road is a lovely little street with one of the best pubs in Oxford as one of its jewels. This property would be perfect for those wanting to explore Oxford proper. Further, because the two bedrooms are subterranean they would remain cool in the summers in our opinion. "

"This property does not exist! We waited outside for 2 hours! The neighbors were concerned that we were lost so, they came out. Chris and Rosemary stayed with us for awhile and asked the other neighbors if they had the actual homeowners ' mobile number as they only had the land lines. The boyfriend of the youngest daughter of the home owners even drove out and told us that it's definitely not for rent! They all have us different hotel names to stay. "Excellent property very conveniently situated for a pre Christmas walkable visit to Blenheim Palace. Also, less than a five minute walk to Woodstock’s fine pubs and restaurants. The accommodation itself was high spec, peaceful and extremely comfortable for a short stay. I would definitely stay again. "

"- comfortable beds, average size room. Nice walk in shower. Has safe that doesn’t work. I couldn’t find if it had air conditioning but the night was cool enough not to worry. Has paid parking. No fridge or microwave. About a 1/2 hour walk to downtown Oxford."

Voco Spires - excellent stay.

"Lovely hotel, comfortable beds, staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was buffet style and one of the nicest buffet breakfasts we have had, with a very good range of options. We also used the pool, poolside jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There are towels in the spa area for you to use and shampoo, conditioner and shower wash in the changing room showers. There are also lockers which you use a PIN code to lock, so no change needed. We walked into Oxford along the Thames river path and enjoyed not being right in the centre. It took us around 15 minutes to get into Oxford and probably only 10 minutes to get the Christ College from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and the hotel had everything we needed, as well as enabling us to relax after a long day of sightseeing. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. "
