My stay at Rioca was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had recently. The apartment was exceptionally convenient, with many thoughtful details throughout. The kitchenette is fully equipped for light cooking, and the inclusion of a dishwasher is a valuable bonus. The bathroom is spacious, and the room itself is significantly larger than those in comparable apart-hotels. It features a comfortable bed, a working desk, and a sitting area. I particularly appreciated the integrated speaker in the nightstand, as I'm a music lover.
Another great feature is that coffee and tea are available for free throughout the day in the reception area. The property also has a washer/dryer in the basement, which was very convenient. I would definitely stay at Rioca again wherever they have affiliate hotels, and I've already rebooked for my next trip to Munich this autumn. The breakfast was also quite nice, with a delicious smoothie available every morning—everything I needed for a simple, homely breakfast. Nothing fancy, but definitely satisfying.
The bar was great, with friendly staff and a fantastic Caipirinha, though the selection of alcoholic drinks was somewhat limited. The only downside for me was that the coworking area in the lobby was a bit too noisy for taking calls, as the music was loud. However, if you don't need to join Zoom meetings and just need a place to work, it’s perfectly fine.
