My stay at MOMA 1890 Hotel was a fairly good experience overall. The hotel had some great aspects, but also a few drawbacks.
The biggest highlight was the comfortable bed with high-quality linens, which made for a great night’s sleep. The bathroom was modern and well-designed, which I really appreciated. However, despite booking a Junior Suite, I found the room to be quite small, which was a bit disappointing as I expected more space.
The location was excellent for work, being right next to a subway station, which made getting around the city incredibly convenient. While it was perfect for business travel, I would have preferred to stay closer to Marienplatz to be in the heart of the historic district, as that’s where I enjoyed spending my free time.
The biggest drawback was the lack of amenities that you might find in a larger hotel, along with the compact room size. While the experience was positive, I’d recommend this hotel primarily for business travelers who prioritize location and efficiency over space and extra facilities.
