Home Away From Home
Staying at this cottage felt just like being at home, the only difference is our home doesn’t have the same spectacular views. We enjoyed everything about the property. The view from the back porch of the cottage is absolutely breathtaking. Have your camera ready so you can snap some pics of all the abundant wildlife. If you enjoy wade fishing, this is the spot. The four of us caught our limit daily. And, if you just enjoy catching and releasing, be prepared, because you will stay busy. Last but definitely not least, the hostess Andrea is the best. She is super helpful and extremely thoughtful. Upon arrival, she surprised us with a snack basket and birthday sweets from B’s Bakery. This act of kindness comes from the heart, and for that we are extremely grateful. We are very blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at this cottage. Trout fishing paradise!
We love it here. This was our fifth visit to Wildcat cottage. The fishing is great, the views are so peaceful. Sitting on the deck watching the wildlife sipping our coffee as the mist rises off the water is just amazing. Andrea has thought of everything. It’s like being at home. She is a wonderful host and we will be back again soon.

Wonderful scenic stay!
Andrea has thought of everything! This is my second time staying here and this time I was by myself just for a trip to relax. I feel extremely safe at her property and she has thought of so many things to help take care of her guests. Her cottage is extremely clean and well taken care of. She is available anytime you have a question and very responsive. The property is beautiful, right on the river. I saw so much wildlife this time especially. Eagles, heron, pileated woodpeckers, squirrels and many more. It's a great place to stay if you're a fisherman or just like exploring the area. You can put in your boat literally right up the road or go down to Cotter which is just a few miles away. Lots of people canoe and there's also the swimming hole to enjoy. It's a great property and I highly recommend it. I will be a returning guest because it feels like home.

Great place on the White River. Best trout fishing around right out your back door. Andrea is a great host who has thought of everything you could possibly need. This was our fourth stay at Wildcat cottage and we can’t wait to come back again.

Perfect stay for fishing on the White.
Two fishing buddies who make a yearly trip to fish a few days on the White. These few days off are always a big deal for us. We look forward to it every year. This cabin is perfect. After a day on the river, you can come back and fish some more. The host is very kind and friendly. Highly recommend.

Our stay wasn’t long enough!
This was our first visit to the Wildcat Lodge, but it certainly won’t be our last! After a combined total of 38 years of fishing in Cotter, we have finally found THE PLACE to stay! Excellent accommodations, amazing views, and one of the greatest hosts you could ever dream of having make the Wildcat Lodge a “no brainer” place to stay! Andrea is a awesome host and has the house stocked to the gills with anything and everything you could ever imagine in the event you might have forgotten something on your trip. Now that the Wildcat is on our radar, we plan to make a trip out to stay every year!

Great getaway
We were looking for a short little getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of our very stressful everyday lives. We knew we couldn't be To far from home and this was a perfect spot. We enjoyed the family of woodpeckers that greeted us each morning and afternoon from our deck. The cottage setting among The beautiful trees and steps from the river cant be beat. Everything was thought thru and handy for us to find within the cottage. We enjoyed our boat ride up to the dam and the surprise firetruck ride was a treat. We fished from the bank by the firepit while swinging in the porch swing watching the fog roll in. Andrea is wonderful and attentive. Quick to respond and made us feel like extended family. Heavenly!!!
Our grandson’s first comment when we arrived at “Wildcat Cottage” and met Ms Andy was “This place is heavenly!” He just turned 9 while we were on vacation. I have to second his impression. My wife and I have stayed at many places over the years. I have a test for each place we stay at that advertises “Fully furnished just bring food and clothes”. I tried to find something that wasn’t already thought of and Ms Andy had it all covered. When I say coved that goes for adults and children even teenagers! Not one thing was left out. Ms Andy is one of the “Special People” that everyone should have the pleasure of meeting and getting to know on vacation. Sincerely, The Brack Family
