「We spent 10 days in January/February cozied up from the weather gazing out the wall of windows at the most spectacular view. We loved the town and the walks along the coastline right from the front door were stunning. I can see returning in warmer months to enjoy the beautiful outdoor space of the home. Our host was accessible and provided us with a very comfortable home. 」

「We appreciated the help at the front desk. All the staffs were very professional especially Jason. They all are very courteous and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet very much as there were a variety of food and drink selections.The kitchen staff and servers were very helpful as well. 「The staff at Casa da Galeria were very accommodating and welcoming. They let us drop off our bags at 7 am before check-in. Our room was stocked with everything you need to feel comfortable and breakfast was delightful. I highly recommend this hotel during your stay in Sao Miguel. 」

「The quality and size of the “apartments” (they’re basically houses, it’s great) is phenomenal for the price. To have a private back deck, many air conditioners, a kitchen, a nice bathroom, FOUR sets of sliding doors.. it was great. Friendly cats run the grounds, par for the course in Europe. 「The apartment was very clean and the owners were very friendly. The bathroom is nice and big and has a bidet. It also had a washing machine which was nice! You could walk to the restaurants and to the grocery store. The street noise is very loud and you have to keep the windows open because it is very warm inside. 「The property had everything what we were looking for. It was spacious, safe, clean with with beautiful views. There are plenty of restaurants in the walking distance. Also you can buy everything you need in the local grocery shop. Place is close to the downtown and beaches. There is no located parking, however you can always find a parking spot near the building. Overall, we had an amazing experience. 」

「The place was fantastic, gorgeous and awesome. Location was great, just in the suburbs of Ponta Delgado. The accommodations were superb, we stayed in the family villa with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms... each bedroom was on opposite ends, and there was doors subdividing the area, for extra privacy. Very nice. The owner Paulo and caretaker Claudio were very helpful and friendly. Vinnie the big pup was a big lovable doofus. If we are able to make it back to the Azores again, we would try to...
