“We stayed here to fish and enjoy some downtime with my daughter and father and it was wonderful. The cottage is cozy and very well stocked with things you’d need for a stay without having to worry! It was a very quiet area and has direct access to the river, which we loved. It was great for my father who is getting older and doesn’t get around as well as he used to. “Had a wonderful stay in peak autumn with our young kids. The cottage felt like home. I loved that the property has a beautiful view on the hill but a nice flat spot of lawn for the kids to run on at the lake. We enjoyed taking the paddle boat around the island. “Our family was very pleased with our stay at the Eagles nest. It was a very warm & cozy cabin with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed walking down to the beach with a cup of coffee & our dogs. Lots of memories made and our kids were asking when we could come back and sad to leave. “Our family met here for Christmas this year and it was absolutely lovely. Beautiful holiday decor and the hot cocoa bar was a hit with the kids. The home is exactly as pictured (except the exterior is red now instead of grey, which confused me upon arrival). Plenty of space for the family to spread out but also well-designed for the whole group to be in one room watching a holiday movie and playing games. We also used the pool at the clubhouse and the kids loved the comfortable water……

“The view was perfect and the house was the perfect accommodation for this group. The sprawling lawn was a nice bonus for playing games and getting sun. My suggestion would be to get more rugs for the deck as that deck gets way to hot and put in the ladder for use because it’s hard to get in and out of the river. It was nice that the boat had everything we needed in the kitchen. My only concern was how dusty it was. Overall great spot to go with a large group and friends!”

“My group found this to be the perfect spot for a weekend get away. The deck and dock are fantastic and the hot tub was very clean. The park across the street is great for all ages. If you wanted to hit a beach there is a public park 5 minutes away with a nice one. I would recommend this property to anyone and would 100% book again!”
