As everyone notes, decor stands out. We had Comfort Suite with 1 Queen bed & jetted tub on 2nd floor. Bed was very comfortable. Did not use tub. The shower with curved glass doors was perfectly adorable & functional, though a person with very large frame may find it tight.
We had access to a balcony with seating though was not a private one like our neighbor's on same floor. Shared kitchen seemed fully stocked and functional, though we did not use.
Stairs from parking in back are exterior & winding. So if that is too challenging, entry from the front of the building has straight, wide steps. However, as other noted, leaving vehicle unattended in front can get you ticketed. A little tricky getting to the lot out back since entry is from a one-way street perpendicular to house street. Read instructions from hotel carefully. If you go under railroad track underpass, you've gone too far, & do not turn right as it will put you on highway for quite a long ways.
Our room faced tracks, but we never heard any trains at night or in the morning. We were out during day so don't know if anything goes by then. Do bring ear plugs as you may hear people on steps or rattling about house.
Receptionist did greet us when we arrived during their regular staff hours in English. Checkout was noon (which we appreciated), but receptionist does not come in until 1pm. Not a problem for us. Breakfast staff did not appear to speak English much, but we managed with my rusty French.
