"Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. We loved the fact this place was out in the middle of no where. The house was really quiet except when we got major winds (which isn't Steve's fault just part of nature this time of the year). The trails were an extra bonus for us and the dog. Our dog was in heaven. Hopefully we will get to come back again when the trees have leaves and the little church next door is complete. Thanks Steve for sharing your place with us. You are a true blessing "

"Fished the Madison chain while we stayed here. 20 minutes to the ramp. Plenty of places to eat in neighborhood easy gas stops on easy to ramp. Plenty of room to move around in house for the four of us. Driveway and street parking were available for two bass boats and trucks. Electric hook up was great for charging batteries."

Clean and comfortable, the room was a bit like a private hotel room in the country. It's a short drive to Verona, Mt. Horeb or to Madison. I brought my dog, who loved the large yard and visiting the nearby dog park. "

"We wanted a relaxing weekend getaway. This place was the perfect fit. The house was so comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend. Fire wood was included for some nice fires in the fireplace and there was an outdoor pit too. Enjoyed the whirlpool tub. The property is beautiful with a small lake/pond. We saw lots of wildlife including many birds, turkeys, deer. It was very private. Also the state hiking/biking trail is right in the back of the property!would love to come...
