"The reason for the stay was we were breaking our train journey, and this hotel is right by the station. It's a little basic but functional, and the only real criticism would be that the shower was a bit feeble. "The property was clean but I was appalled at the lack of provision, particularly when it came to basic personal hygiene. There were no hand basins near the toilets. In addition, the hand sanitiser provided wasn’t working. Staff were initially dismissive. There was a handbasin the the room but not soap provided. Also no feminine hygiene bins. Would recommend against staying here. "
