“The building is historic and beautifully maintained. We were greeted by Jerry who shared some history about the home as he showed us to the room. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. I love that the original door fixtures were kept in place (modern locks were added). We were able to walk to all the local historic sites and restaurants. “It was so easy and amazing to be able to stay in the middle of everything we wanted to see. The apartment is wonderful, check in was a breeze. “First thing I noticed was a pair of boxers and a sock next to the couch in the room. Then when I pulled the blankets down there was a large ball of hair between the sheet and “comforter” which was basically just another sheet. I pulled back the sheet and found dirt and hair and smudges of some sort on the fitted sheet. Clearly the bed wasn’t changed out. The staff was nice about it and gave me new sheets and a thicket blankets.”
