I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.”

“Lovely pub/hotel and the staff are excellent. The site has limited parking so book ahead if you wish to reserve a space. In a great location within the centre of Salisbury, close to the Cathedral, shops and restaurants. Can be a little noisy at night, but worth it for the convenience.”

“Exactly what I expected: an old property that has clearly been loved and with owners that seem to care, has the basics and they do their best. It was clean and no frills but truly close to Stonehenge which made getting there for an early start a lot easier. No noise issues from the restaurant/pub below for us.”

“Although the room was simple, it was very clean and comfortable. The location was phenomenal, directly across from from the Salisbury Cathedral in the Cathedral Close. It felt very special to be able to stay there. The included breakfast was very good. Highly recommended for a very unique stay.”

“Blood stained on the bed sheets! When I requested to change the bed sheets, the staff told me that its their policy to change every 3 days!!”

“The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. The car park is conveniently placed. The English breakfast……
