“We appreciated the clearing off of the snow that fell while we were there, as well as putting salt on the driveway and steps. The one problem we had was on arrival we couldn't figure out how to find the keypad to type in the password for entrance. Otherwise we had a very nice time there.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cedar Sunset on the Lake! The home was extremely clean and provided every necessity that you could ever need! The bed and furnishings were extremely comfortable and by far the best I’ve experienced in a rental property. The lake was right out the back door and we spent a lot of time on the dock while the kids were always in the lake and provided paddle board. The home was also in close proximity to Crown Point, but the town of Cedar Lake offered everything……

“The neighborhood was nice and house was as advertised. We cooked and used the grill and enjoyed visiting in gathering area with friends. We had a small plumbing problem with the house and the owners very quickly responded and fixed the problem. Would be glad to stay with them again.”

“The area was super quiet and pitch black at night. The tent was cute and perfect size. We however did not end up staying. It was super smokey, when I opened the stove to add wood even more smoke poured from it. Being from eastern Kentucky those are what we had and they shouldn't do that, so I'm thinking the pipe was getting clogged. If not for that it would have been super cozy.”

“This property was clean, nicely decorated & kitchen well appointed (except for the NON Microwave safe coffee mugs). A reheated cup of coffee caused 2nd & 3rd degree burns when removed from the microwave. After the fact, we noted the mugs were stamped on the bottom in tiny print, "not microwave safe". “From the first communication with Shari, I knew this would be a good visit. What I didn't realize was how magical the experience would be. Shari welcomed us to the house and gave us a bit of history. It was the perfect setting for celebrating the Christmas holidays with family: my son and daughter-in-law, their newborn son, my elderly in-laws, and my DIL's parents. “In town for our granddaughter’s first birthday party. There were several out of towners staying with our daughter and son-in-law for the party, so we booked a space at the Hruby Doobie Ranch. We knew it with be cool from the photos on the VRBO site, but the pictures did not do it justice! The ranch was a wonderful, peaceful, cozy, unique space!
