Hot tub never heated past 94 degrees
The cabin was beautiful, the location was great. The creek was beautiful, the lights around the outside and the fire pit made everything so inviting. How ever, the inside of the cabin was very hastily cleaned; there was dust on most of the table surfaces, the ceilings fans were dusty, there was quite a bit do dog hair. Window sills were not wiped out. And the hot tub would not get hot. I understand it’s winter and can take longer for it to heat up. But the days time temp was like 55 degrees outside there is no reason that it should not have gotten hot. That was very disappointing, my children were really looking forward to a hot tub. When I contacted guest services I just kept getting the same directions on how to turn the hot tub on like I didn’t know how. But oh well what can you do

Nice place
We have 12 and 14 year old boys. We loved this place. We did activities out and about and then could come back and play in the stream and cook out. The location is perfect. There is a Dollar General in Mineral Bluff (one intersection) and it has frozen pizza's and snacks to get you buy. Otherwise, you need to drive to Blue Ridge (about 12 minutes away). Blue Ridge has great restaurants, grocery stores, fun walk around shopping, and anything else you may need. If you need adult beverages...you have to go to Blue Ridge. We did a 2 hour horse ride with Appalachian Trail Rides. Great time. We did a tube float down the Toccoa River with Blue Ridge Tubes (highly recommend) then you can stop by the Toccoa River Restaurant for some food (nice atmosphere and you can eat by the water...just stick with burgers and a beer on this one). Also Bigfoot breakfast is great in Blue Ridge. The big event was rafting the Ocoee. Had an absolute blast. I have done it many times but the kids loved it. Use NOC Ocoee. So the cabin as 45 minutes away from NOC. You can get to lots of stuff within 30 minutes. Living Waters Winery and Mercier Orchards as well. This cabin is in a very good location. Very nice inside with all that you need. Kelly with Vacasa was fast to respond to any needs as well. A few cons and they are that big of a deal. I think the owner is fairly new to renting so they need to work out some kinks and will be fine. The hot tube was not really working good. It took forever to heat and would not hold heat for long. Half the jets worked. I am older now and after a long day of horse and rafting....I needed a good soak. They did try to fix it but i am afraid it needs some more work than a few minutes. The other thing that was frustrating was the ecobee thermosat. The owner needs to give the guest full access and not set limits at certain times. It changed to 74 the first night at 11:30 and i had to wake up at 3 and turn it down. Everyone was sweating. They also have it set to change in the day time so if you leave and come back...you come back to a hot house. Easy fix....take the scheduling off when you guest ( i have an ecobee at home is why i know). If someone did not know how to use an ecobee they would have been frustrated. So those are minor frustrations. All in all this was great. The whole family loved it and had a great time. I would come here again any time.

Wonderful Stay
The house was in a beautiful location with a flowing creek, fire pit area, porch swings, 2 outdoor tables and a hammock area. It was stocked with necessities and the inside of the house was very clean. A scenic drive to the house was a bonus. Overall wonderful stay!

Retreat
We arrived after dark and upon arrival we were amazed by the sparkling lights, the fire pit area, and the secure, gated yard. The cabin had everything we needed! We loved the screen porch and doors allowing us to keep the doors open to enjoy the weather. We would love to spend more time here!!
