This is a cool place for stay, close to lots of great places to eat and shop (if you like comic books, vintage, small businesses). It was a bit much to be in one room with our 2 teenagers, with only one bathroom with a hanging door that didn’t provide privacy (doesn’t close entirely) and no bathroom fan. The room got super warm during our second night and we couldn’t get it to cool down, so sleeping was kind of miserable for us—and because there are no staff on duty, we couldn’t do anything about it. I would say this is the perfect place for a single adult or a couple, but not amazing for a family sharing one room.

I am not crazy about not having any staff, at all. Seems big brother-ish, as does the sign on the board that “we are watching you.” I gave high marks on the cool building, although it was hard to regulate the water temp in 6. Your guests were all very nice, but I have to say there must be a middle ground here that you could find if you tried. Other hotels, hostels manage to do that. Why not Kinn?

Loved this place! Only stayed one night but it was fantastic! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and I am picky when it comes to this due to having a bad back. Loved the contactless check-in and check-out also. The only thing that was not liked was the bathroom door. It is a sliding barn door and when the door was closed there was about a half inch to and inch gap. The entire bathroom was visible through the gap which could be seen through the reflection of the wall mirror located in the room. The hotel was extremely clean and in a safe area that was in walking distance to shopping, food and nightlife. Would definitely stay there again!!!

The room is spacious with modern style. The heating system doesn’t seem to work since it only has cooling function. The worst thing is the parking lot, which is renovating and there is no room for parking at all and I got a ticketing for not having the permit, which is definitely not possible for non-Milwaukee residents.

Parking was an issue. The alley was tore up and city was doing repairs, so we had to contact the milwalkee parking authotities to get an overnight parking permit for street parking. No staff on sight. Cipher lock to enter building and room. Code was needed. Room was fabulous. Great renovation of a very old beutiful building. Great spacious shower. Great restaurant on site. Enjoyed our stay

Petit problème à l’arrivée ayant probablement raté le mail avec les codes impossible de trouver la chambre . Le service par téléphone a été très réactif et m’a immédiatement fourni les codes nécessaires. Super restaurant au rez de chaussée. Chambre très spacieuse et très propre.
