“This low-key setting, dark-sky setting was easy to access but felt remote. The stars were magnificent. We used Joe’s lower camping area, so come self-contained. There is a fire ring, plenty of wood around the property, a picnic table and porta potty. Great for when you want a reserved spot to semi-boondock. Joe was a great host and easy to communicate with—we enjoyed our stay for the annular solar eclipse.”

“This cabin was perfect for my huband and I plus our dog Millie. The pictures and description are accurate and we found this to be a perfect ending to a busy hiking day. Bears Ears National Monument and all the trails and ruins were fantastic. Highly recommend.”

“Great little cabin, very hard to find in the dark late at night. Ran out of water on the second night, and trying to get ahold of the number that contacts the host was not very good. They eventually got it fixed and we were not at the property most of the day but they never contacted us once the opened up even after I had left voicemail abd text messages two hours earlier. Property was nice but not the management.”

“The location is excellent. We loved watching the sun rise and sunsets. The deer were on the golf course every morning and evening, The place was clean. The beds were comfortable. The gas fireplace, in the living room, was fantastic. The best part was how close it was to all the places we wanted to explore. Excellent hiking in Hovenweep, Natural Bridges, Arches, and Canyonlands. ”

“The hosts offered us a different cabin (with heat!) as the weather was unseasonably cold. It was very nice, the location was beautiful and I would definitely return!”

“The location of the cabin was very beautiful. There wasn’t any issues finding the location and checking was easy. The long view cabin has a great view and the actual property was perfect. Had a great time with my family roasting marshmallows on the fire pit and looking at the canyon from the porch. Would definitely go back again.”

“We only spent one night but enjoyed this lovely cabin. Everything we needed was provided. This is a great place to stay especially if you have a large family like ours. We intend to stay here again next time we visit family in Blanding or Monticello. ”
