We had a good 1 night stay at this hotel. It’s a good, basic hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was relatively clean; the caulking around the bathtub could do with being replaced, and the shower curtain had some stains on it, but overall it was fine. The young woman on the front desk was polite enough and helpful when I had a problem with the hair dryer in the room; the manager came up very promptly and fixed it, he was extremely polite and friendly. The breakfast had a pretty good selection of regular breakfast foods. We didn’t use the pool, it was very small and lots of kiddos using it. The location is great, lots of restaurants and shopping around. I would recommend this for a reasonably priced, no frills stay and I would definitely come back again if I’m in the area.

Good location and amenities. We boat on georgian bay and the hotel location is a quick 5 minutes drive from our marina.

It was ok. Nice bed, couch and window on trees. Carpets was very worn by the door, no Kleenex in the room and the bathtub tap worked in reverse! Surprising when one expect cold and gets hot! Should have been a warning sign.

Hallways were so hot, I wanted to pass out. Not enough plug ins close to the beds, had to unplug the alarm clock or lamps to be able to plug n my phone. Beds were comfy though and it was quiet. Breakfast provided was fine.

Initially when we got to the room we were upset as there was young children above us that were constantly running and jumping in the floor. I understand children of course but my husband just came off of a night shift and needed to sleep so we requested a change of rooms. It was done without question and we were even upgraded to a better larger room! I was extremely impressed by the staff and speed in which this was handled! It will be our go to hotel in Midland going forward!

This property is lept very clean. The girls were always mopping front area. Breakfast was wonderful. Always replenished The hottib had great jets. Both days I enjoyed hittib and swim. Enjoyed the stay at Super 8 Midland. Lots of dining options, easy walking to supermarkets, malls, coffee shops and to the local Hospital. The hotel is showing signs of wear and tear but the staff does a good job at keeping it tidy.

My stay at the hotel was for one week. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was great. The only thing I was disappointed in was the breakfast. They offered things like bagels, toast, waffles, cereal, hot cereal, coffee-tea. The main breakfast was eggs and sausage. Problem was they use either standard egg carton eggs or powered eggs, which were over cooked, this lead to the surface of the eggs turning hard so you had a mix of crunchy and watery eggs. The sausage is what you expect from a hotel breakfast, but serving them everyday was horrible. If they switched between sausage and bacon it would give variety. Last thing was there were no home fries served at breakfast, not once in the entire week. I completely understand food wasting, and the rising cost of food and supplies for the hotels, but these costs are factored in to the cost of an overnight stay. The hotel guest has these costs passed on to them through the cost of a nights stay. Just offer the standard breakfast with everything included or don't offer it at all.
