“This cute ranch is very clean and well stocked for guests. We only had three people in our group, but the house can definitely host more people comfortably. It is very close to downtown Shipshewana and other surrounding shops and attractions. My only suggestion would possibly be investing in new mattresses. Although we slept comfortably, the quality could be improved. The owner was responsive to my messages in a timely manner. Instructions for the home were clear and easy to follow. We would……

“The views from the decks are beautiful. The house does sleep 10 but there are not 4 bedrooms; really only 2. We ended up renting a boat on a different lake because the St Joseph River is not good for a novice boat driver, plus the boat at the house was not operating. Hot tub was great but there is no fire pit. All in all we had a nice peaceful time with family and enjoyed the sunset.”

The home was very comfortable and well maintained with beautiful gardens. Kids were able to swim from pier….loved the games and puzzles and nice fire pit for S’mores! The lake is quiet and several sandy areas to anchor and swim. The cottage was perfect for us and hope to return. ”

“So thankful to Lyndon & family who went the extra mile for us when we needed a place to stay in Goshen while having rv repaired at Affinity! We loved this adorable farm house that had absolutely everything we needed!! And we all loved their blue heeler pup - Sophie!! Would stay here again! Beds so comfy, kitchen so functional (we cooked daily) and having the washer & cryer was an added bonus!! ”

“My family and I were impressed with how well the cottage is maintained as well as how welcoming the hosts are. Kent was extremely responsive and addressed our questions relating to the area and property promptly. Swimming on the lake was beautiful, relaxing, refreshing, and rejuvenating. We didn’t have to leave except for groceries as all our needs were met including board games, grill, water accessories, and lots of other amenities. I highly recommend this beautiful and well-maintained property……
