The hotel has easy access to the beach. I like the fact that you can swim in the pool and at the beach within minutes, which is ideal for families. The pool water was freezing, it would have been nice if it was heated. There were not too many restaurant options. The front desk staff were polite but do not expect extra steps to be taken for you. The breakfast staff can be a bit warmer to customers. The hotel charges a daily resort fee which is a bit excessive as they did not provide resort amenities. There were no activities either at the pool or the beach but they charge a daily resort fee of $28 and $150 incidental fees. You can order cocktails but there is no food menu. They provided continental breakfast which was ok. The hotel is a bit outdated, I had a double beds room with a balcony with only one lounge chair provided by the hotel. The view of the beach and pool was beautiful from looking down from the 4th floor. However, the hotel can put more effort into modernizing its space and furniture. The bathroom was small and their showerhead was so disgusting with mildew. I was not too happy with my stay for the price I paid.

when I read reviews about the hotel it was written "free parking" when we checked into the hotel we were told there was no parking! We were very upset! We had to run around neighboring hotels to negotiate for paid parking. And this is an additional unnecessary expense! KEEP IN MIND, WHEN THERE IS FULL THERE IS NO PARKING!!!

I was extremely disappointed that they gave me a room with a messed up tv, no cable, no Internet and power outlets didn't work, due to an incident that happened with a family earlier in the day at the same room. Also, No parking lot at the hotel due too construction next door.

I love that it's walkable to a lot of dining options. There's also a Walgreens and Publix nearby. I like that the hotel is an oceanfront hotel. I got the room with balcony overlooking the ocean. Nice view and quiet. However, the wifi connection did not work in my room. Had to go to the lobby to get connection.

Liked my room that had view of west side as well as the ocean/beach. Large room very nice. Next time I'll upgrade to a balcony. Great female staff member at check-in, but another day asked a male at front desk for restaurant recommendations. He said none, except one across the street. Didn't even ask if I could walk a few blocks, etc. Just not very friendly or a good host. Otherwise, beach and chairs/towels/umbrellas great addition.

This is my 2nd stay here and I just love this place it’s got an old vibe but with new updates you can definitely tell it’s one of the original hotels which I love the only problem I had was with the young night staff he were really rude about to my daughter when her money was taken at the vending machine other than that I love this place it’s a wonderful part of Miami close to shops and everything

The customer service from Kate was superb she made me feel welcomed and ensured that my stay was good. She constantly engaged all clients throughout the space, her approach to customer service was highly noted and appreciated. The space was very quiet, clean and calm. The bed and pillows were awesome. The view from the room was majestic this alone made everything else seem minute. The bathroom sink drain had a little difficulty but was fixed once reported. The restaurant however was not open and the only meals available was the light breakfast. We had to source our food outside of the hotel and bring back if we wanted to eat at the space. It would be good if this is the circumstances to at least have a microwave in the room so that we could warm up our food at our own convenience as opposed to going all the way down to the common room. Especially for the price being paid per room we should be comfortable in our movements. Entering in and out of the main entry to the hotel proved difficult with luggage as the door has to be held open in order to go through it. It would be good to have a door man to greet each client and open the door for them as they enter and exit or invest in electric doors. The phone was not plugged upon check in and the tv remote did not work with the tv. But I absolutely loved the room. It is a gem

Not sure how convenient parking is if you drive yourself -- we utilized Uber frequently and it was easy to get in and out, but parking seemed like a nightmare if you were on your own. The property seems a little dated, but not out of place for the surrounding area. Some amenities show their age, but the property is still nice. Main lobby is spacious, but the front desk was crowded and cramped into a corner. Led to wait times and hectic scenes. Our room itself was nice, but again, the hallways and entrances were dated and could use some love. Views from the balcony were nice. Beds were comfortable.

This actually exceeded our expectations! Reading the reviews almost made us not book but am glad I did. It’s dated yes but you get all you need and very convenient on Collins Ave. lots of shops and restaurants and activities. The beach access is amazing
