Booked with Expedia VIP access. Upon arriving at property, was charged the full amount for the room, as the staff said Expedia never paid them? Was perplexed and bewildered by this, and was summarily given a room that was already occupied. After notifying the front desk staff of this major mistake, was given another room and promised an upgrade and higher floor room. Never received said room upgrade. Also, never received the promised VIP benefit until I asked for it on the last day. TV did not work in my room for two days. The hotel facility itself is beautiful and well-appointed, but the overall experience left a bitter taste, and neither the hotel nor Expedia did anything to adequately rectify all the mishaps.
