“It was a very happy, festive, family oriented place. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would go back with my family, young and old. Lounging by the ocean or the pool provided opportunities to relax or have fun. The food was outstanding. It was paradise! Guests can be prepared to be patient and flexible because many of the staff don’t speak english so you might get something different than what you asked for 😉”

“Overall, this place was good! For a cheaper resort, you can’t complain - you’re getting what you pay for. The beach was great- beautiful sand and seaweed cleaned daily. We were able to get cabanas or chairs if we went in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon too. The water park is a blast for the kids, although it is dated it is still very fun. My biggest tip is to bring water shoes because the non slip type cement is hard on the feet. The pools were great too! The food was good. Not……

“Barcelo Palace is located in a huge bay that is home to sea turtles, sting rays, baracuda, lobsters, and all kinds of fish. Snorkeling from the shore is amazing. They have many activities that you may participate in. Some are extra $, but many are free. If you book a premium room, access to the hydrotherapy spa is included daily. “God,venlig og gnidningsfri ind- og udtjek af hotellet. Værelserne pæne - store og med godt aircon anlæg. Dejligt med udsigt til have med ro. Stranden var skuffende - slet ikke så flot som på fotos og fyldt med sten, som man let kunne falde over. Dog pænt mange liggestole og parasoller. Rigtig god mad- specielt på den store buffet-restaurant og Blue Moon. Den mexicanske restaurant skuffede dog, da vi ventede alt for lang tid på både drikkevarer og mad. Maden var kedelig og uappetitlig……
