Nestled on a quiet culdesac just off Racecourse Avenue you will find this stylish alpine style two-storey chalet on a spacious and fully fenced section with an abundance of parking. With wonderful indoor/outdoor floor and plenty of heating options you will be super cosy for your winter getaway.
Methven is a thriving destination town with Opuke Hot Pools, Bike Park, Mt. Hutt Skifield and many other skifields within a 2 hour radius. Come and stay!
The Rooms
On the ground floor, our home offers one large bedroom which contains one double bed + inbuilt storage. Travel the stairs and you will find an additional two double bedrooms, one room with a king-sized bed and the other offering a queen-sized bed, desk + storage space. We use commercially laundered, quality linens throughout the home and your comfort is our main priority with winter-weight duvets and additional blankets. There is a heat pump located in one of the bedrooms upstairs which offer a simple way to heat the upstairs area if you arrive late and don't want to get the fire going. Ther view from the upstairs bedroom during sunrise and sunset is breathtaking!
The Family Spaces
Our lounge offers a large log burner that heats the entire home with ease, a small dining room table, and a large couch. The TV offers free-to-view channels via apps + you can stream your own programmes via streaming platforms. The kitchen is well equipped but we do not have a dishwasher so please be aware when booking that your own elbow grease will be required when cooking sumptuous meals, lucky we have incredible cafes, restaurants and takeaways in Methven! We have one bathroom which is combined with the laundry, consisting of shower, vanity, toilet + washing machine.
The Outdoor Spaces
Fully fenced and a dog kennel for your furry friend, plenty of parking within the section and an amazing, sheltered and private bar/decking area at the rear of the house. Not a bad way to end a good day on the slopes with a cold beverage watching the sun go down!
All areas of the property are accessible to guests except our garage which is locked.

We have a security camera by the front door which is directed down the driveway, this was installed for security purposes by the owner-occupier.
