She was very friendly, greeting us when we first arrived, showing us around, left a couple bottles of wine for us to enjoy. Had all the amenities we could need. “Work trip in Jefferson City with five coworkers. The location was cozy and beds were comfortable. Lots of space to hang out. The kitchen was big had most everything we needed. The neighborhood with mature trees was fantastic. We were disappointed the pool table was not functional since the sticks were broken and pool table was extremely unlevel. Also the pool was great, but the lights weren’t working to use it in the evening when we were mostly there.”

“My wife and I came into town on business for the weekend. We arrived late (930pm) and the host met us at the cabin and ensured our check-in and accommodations were as expected. The place was super clean and so tastefully put together and decorated! We have stayed at other places on the river and none of them were as clean, manicured or landscaped as this little tucked-away gem. But the best part of the place by far, was the family/owners. They were so friendly and accommodating and cooked……

“This is little piece of heaven. So clean and peaceful, I love the family style breakfast and conversation. Camping in style, the tiny cabins are private and clean. The view of the Osage river is amazing. Surprisingly a community shower/bath house - was very clean and you can lock the door privacy.”

We had never used VRBO or rented a cabin before and we were not sure what to expect, we had hoped for a nice experience and what we got was so much more!! “My sisters and I took our mother on a trip to the Rolla and Fort Leonard Wood area where she lived long ago. The cabin was about a 40 minute drive from these locations. What a fabulous spot! Gorgeous view of the Gasconade River and bluffs off of the deck! Heather shared some interesting historical details about the property which we talked about all weekend. Clean, inviting and plenty of room for our group. Loved the cabin!”

“My husband and I had been searching for something off grid, only a few hours away. We were lucky enough to have found our ideal setting in Rock Eddy Bluff Farm.. Loved every ounce of the quiet found only in the forest, and our days spent exploring the river canoeing. The evening was filled with camp cooking, listening to the wildlife, and lighting over the bluff from a passing storm in an adjacent holler. Our ‘lil cabin was cozy, charming, and made it incredibly difficult for us to think about……

“We had an amazing vacation and highly recommended this property! Our kids (8 year old twins and 2 year old) loved the pond, pavilion, fire pit, exploring the grounds, and especially Popeye and his smiles! This a perfect property if you want to be able to swim without the crowds and waves of a large lake. The house was clean, comfortable, and homey. Janet and Kerry are wonderful hosts! We also highly recommend Ice Cream 4 Ice Cream and Stark Caverns.”

“Cabin was very clean. Loved the little lake. Property is on a farm with a lot of different animals roaming around. (Cabin area is separated from the animals by a fence) The driveway to the cabin is gravel and steep, I'm glad I had my truck. Had a good stay.”
