“Loved our stay at Kalavrita Canyon Resort and Spa. We were pleasantly surprised on our mountain drive up to Kalavrita as there is stunning scenery along the switchbacks. The hotel staff are exceptional; the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The decor of the hotel is very eclectic and interesting. There’s a sweet courtyard in the rear and pool. “Before the motorway bypassed this town I suspect this was 'THE" place to stay! Since then, like so many Greek hotels affected by the motorway development this one has seen better days. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. The lift was an asset although it did make recurring noises throughout the night. Beds were comfortable and there was a fridge”
