“We really liked the Traveler's Rest Hotel - but it's definitely atypical, so if you prefer chain hotels, this is not for you. In a carefully restored historic building with lots of character, Traveler's Rest feels a little more like a large bed & breakfast. Our bathroom was a short walk down the hall - but it was private, and sparklingly clean. Breakfast is in a shared common room (like a large living room) with lots of food choices, good coffee, and friendly conversation.”
