“The Shoe House was the perfect stay for our anniversary. This is a historical gem you don’t want to miss! So much history and nostalgia exists within the property, it is on amazing grounds, and the hot tub is piping hot! Perfect for relaxing on a crisp fall night! Plus, how cool is it that you get to say you stayed in a shoe!!! The owners/host were super responsive, no issues with access, and the shoe had all of the amenities we needed and more! “This lovely property is located conveniently in Pa Amish country, less than half an hour from everywhere we needed to go. The salt waster pool was still heated and running, and the hot tub was so nice. We swam, hot tubbed, slept comfortably, enjoyed the kitchen and living room, and the property immensely. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. I'd recommend it and will stay there again when I come back to the area!”

“We had a great time. Traveled with some of our elder family members who hadn’t been to Lancaster/Amish country in 20+ years. After lots of shopping and walking this was a great place to relax. Living area was very relaxing, we watched movies, played games. I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling in a group.
