I can’t rave enough about The Phoenix
I can’t rave enough about The Phoenix. A spacious, authentic Italian villa with your private pool and sea view windows overlooking the Gulf of Salerno. We pride ourselves in finding Italian treasures and this is one of them. Far enough away from the insanity of Positano and Amalfi, but close enough to go visit and get your pics. Giada was an incredible host. Helped arrange a boat so we can spend a day in Capri as a family. The local recommendations were wonderful. Nerano is a charming town. Villa is spotless, beautiful, and a wonderful place to restore and reset. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Nerano, Italy. The home was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The outdoor patio was a real highlight, offering comfortable seating and breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Although we didn’t get to use the pool due to the rain, its sound added a calming backdrop while sitting on the patio. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute drive to local restaurants and a nearby market. The host was incredibly thoughtful, providing an excellent list of restaurant recommendations that helped us explore the local cuisine. This is the perfect place for anyone looking to relax, escape the hustle of tourism, and experience the charm of local life. I highly recommend this villa for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway!

The whole process was seamless from the initial booking to the planning of the excursions. Giada was amazing, quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend The phoenix villa. Pictures do not capture the beauty! Great location, walking distance to restaurants at the Marina.

Very expensive for what it was. Kitchen extremely badly equipped. Not even washing up liquid supplied or pan scrubbers. What was described as local supermarkets incredibly basic. Pool okay. Irritating radio noise from neighbour’s house. Very steep walk to local village. This should be made much more clear. A guide to local area should be in the villa.

Wonderful views and location
Lucio was amazing! The view was amazing! The house, well its a quirky Italian style meets modern 🤷🏽‍♂️. I don’t know if this standard for a European vacation rental, but you should know they don’t supply shampoo or conditioner and have limited towels and dishes (in the US at this vacation rental price point, toiletries are always included) Make sure you rent the smallest car possible as the road to the house is steep and the parking challenging but that’s the price you pay for the insane view. The village of Nerano is incredibly charming as is Massa Lubrense and a refreshing alternative to the incredibly crowded cities on the Amalfi coast like Sorrento or Positano. Lucio was incredibly helpful with recommendations of restaurants etc…make sure to hike to the stunning beach at Baie di Ierento.
