The cabin was roomy, nicely furnished and had a great deck overlooking the mountains. A short walk from the cabin was a cool waterfall and close by were many wonderful hikes and a great winery within a short distance "

"The stay was absolutely perfect. We had stayed here for a weekend fire school in McDowell County. This property was great for all members to come back, relax, enjoy the views and reflect on the day members had at class. Would HIGHLY recommend for anyone. "Wow, what a great house. 10 adults all slept comfortably with plenty of space in the open kitchen/living room to hangout. The views from the deck were amazing and the hot tub stargazing did not disappoint. The host was super communicative and made everything so easy. Will definitely stay here again!"

"Had our cycling team camp here and the location and amenities could not be more perfect!! From having bathrooms in each room, bike racks, recovery boots- the whole team absolutely loved the location. I will say be prepared for the most difficult climb of the day being the driveway, but that aspect just made the trip that much more enjoyable"

"We stayed here over spring break with a large family group—my family of four, my sister's family of four, our grandparents, and our aunt. Communication with the host was excellent—clear, prompt, and helpful. Check-in was seamless, and the home was easy to find using GPS.As noted in the listing, the driveway is steep, but both our vehicles (a Chevy Suburban and a Chrysler Pacifica) handled it with no issues. The home itself was exactly as described and looked just like the photos—if not better....

"We just spent the weekend at Linville on a Lark and it was the best few days! The house is very nice and the most well stocked that I’ve ever stayed in. Siobhan, our host, was very quick to respond and checked in to make sure everything was going well. The kids enjoyed the game room and movie theater so much. The location is perfect and being in a gated community made us feel very safe. And the view….well, it was fabulous! "

"Beautiful little place on top of a mountain with a fantastic view. We loved the quiet and seclusion. The house was clean and had everything you could want including reliable wifi. It's in a gated mountain community so safety wasn't an issue. Since the area took a hit from Hurricane Helene the owner was good about communicating an alternate route to take because of road and bridge closures. We will definitely stay here again."
