The property was beautifully furnished & extremely clean. Garage and street parking were a plus and we enjoyed several awesome restaurants in close proximity. “We were recently displaced from our home for several weeks due to the Pacific Palisades wildfire. We decided to go to the Marina del Rey area, as it was far enough from the fires that air quality might be better. This apartment was perfect for us - husband, teen daughter and small dog. Bedrooms were spacious, kitchen was adequate (I did bring my own knives and a couple of higher quality pans), and we enjoyed having laundry available. TVs are streaming only, so if you want local channels or……

“Overall, 4 adults had a good stay in this 4 bedroom, 2 bath apartment in Marina Del Rey. Apartment is big and well appointed. Kitchen is nice. Location is good - about 3 blocks from the Venice pier and bars and restaurants. A few minor issues: (1)The walkway from the garage to the 2nd floor apartment is pretty dirty; The bed in the primary bedroom is low and somewhat difficult to get in and out of - and the mattress is quite soft; (3) there's a water leak above the toilet in the primary……

“We stayed for 2 nights and in 2 rooms. Very friendly and welcoming staff accommodated our luggage immediately upon arrival. Very clean rooms with all kitchen stuff needed. All dishes and cutlery like new. We were very impressed with our stay and the services provided. Thank you Quintessence Hotel, for making our stay in LA so enjoyable!!! “Everything was good besides the parking situation”

“Stayed for a week for spring vacation with teenage kids. It’s an apartment building, conveniently located near Walk of fame & Universal studio. It had enough space for a family of 4, full size kitchen & reasonably comfortable beds. In terms of amenities there was just bare minimum. No cutting board or any baking tray for the oven. There was no toilet paper in the apartment on our arrival. But was delivered next morning with apologies & a bottle of wine. Nice gesture, was……

“Super beautiful property at the top of Laurel Canyon. Wonderful host in a perfectly sized apartment in the back of a home. I am consistently in the Los Angeles area and this central location is perfect for my needs. I believe the host, Stephen, is very intuitive in the needs of his guests. I did worry that my ins and outs being at early morning and late night, at times may have been inconvenient to my host but am grateful for the stay.”
