The staff were lovely and went above and beyond to do all that they could. However, the rooms are in need of some work, the heating, ceiling tiles, sofa’s that aren’t worn out, etc. This would make the hotel a truly lovely place to stay.

Nice but not sure if i would stay again

It was a nice room very clean and tidy the only down fall was i could not get much sleep as there was a outside light on lighting up half my room coming from the kitchen down stairs , allso the room come with breakfast that i did not get that i was told on a Sunday its from 8am but in the welcome book in the room it said its from 7am or you can get a takeaway breakfast but the staff never told me this when i booked in

WE HAVE STAYED 3 TIMES NOW AND HAD NO PROBLEMS BUT THIS STAY ON THE 13TH JANUARY THERE WERE CRISPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR ROOM WE FOUND A BOTTLE OF TOMATO KETCHUP IN ONE OF THE DRAWS AND A PAIR OF ROPY MENS SOCKS ON ONE OF THE CHAIRS, AND THE HOTEL AND ROOM WAS COLD NO HEATING WAS ON .

Old run down place.

No heating in the room, it was 6 degrees in there all night. They gave me a new room in the morning, but when I arrived after work it was just 12 degrees in that room. It´s also very worn down with stains everywhere on walls and floors, and it smells of mold.

Staff friendly. Hotel has some issues to iron out

The staff were lovely. The room was clean and modern but there was no hot water, on reporting this, I was told you have to let the water run for about half an hour. I had a Luke warm shower and the water never got hot. The restaurant was closed for the week for cleaning so dinner was not available. Both of these issues should have been listed as conditions before we booked.

not the same

first stay since 2018 staff were great however hotel not the same no atmosphere and very few quests . could do with updating. food was fine.

Disgusting bathroom

Thr room was freezing at first after 20 minutes the manager got the heater working. I think they could be very under dtaffrd as 3 of us was waiting at reception a whole nobody in te bar area or anything Very dirty inloved place . I stayed 18 months ago it was fine. I travel alot wth business and this had to be the worst bathroom ive been in . That bad i thought if this is the same as kitchens i. Not eating here . So never went to breakfast because of it. I told the manger . Shame as sometimes visit March often.

Central to March

Stayed here while visiting family. Good comfortable hotel and central location. We didn’t eat breakfast so can’t comment. But the staff were all friendly and helpful. Good parking. Room was spacious.

An efficient and friendly welcome, an excellent, well designed and comfortable room, with breakfast included, in a quiet but central location with free on site parking - we were happy with our stay.

Booked a ‘Triple’ Room (double plus single) but got a twin room (2 singles). Too tired to go and complain having already had to go back to get my key card reset - and had paid an extra £5, I think. The bed I chose turned out to be terrible, sunk in the middle and uncomfortable. Hotel is old and worn out (apart from a nice shower) and thus, over-priced. I won’t go there again.
