“I’ve stayed at several rentals and this was by far the best! My family and friends had an excellent time! There were 8 of us and we never felt crowded. There is something for everyone at Gaylene’s beautiful home. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen has EVERYTHING you could ever need. We cooked every meal together and enjoyed the large kitchen and dining areas. We spent every evening and morning on the deck enjoying the view. The dock made it possible for us to bring our boats to enjoy the lake.……

“This is our fourth stay at the Fontana Cabin, so it has become a tradition. Robert is very caring and professional; he ensures we have everything we need to have a wonderful stay. Don't let the dirt/gravel road scare you. Sime of our group drove sedans and had no trouble at all. We always bring everything we need for the week. I grew up here so we sometimes leave for a meal out, but for the most part, we sit on the porch and enjoy the incredible view.”

“This is a terrific house with an amazing view. LOVED the big porch with the coffee table fireplace. The kitchen was thoroughly stocked for cooking. The important things were very clean (bathrooms, kitchen, bedding) but I took off a star because the floors weren’t. There was also a glaring safety issue that needs to be addressed- the bottom floor suite is accessible by a staircase with 14+ steps and there is no handrail. That being said, this was still a great vacation home and I would book it……

“So lucky to be able to stay at this lovely, clean cabin as the hurricane came through. We were on top of the mountain and even though it rained hard the entire two days, we were snug as a bug in a rug! Out host was so kind and checked on us frequently which was very thoughtful.
