Great location
Very nice place and great location. We could listen to the waves and birds from the balcony . Manazanita is the sweetest little town. Very clean and well equiped.

Beautiful home, location in Manzanita. Plenty of room yet cozy! Partial ocean view, loved sunsets and sunrises!! Easy walk to the beach! Wish we'd stayed longer than 2 nights!

Still excellent
This was our second stay at this property this year. We were there through a big storm and it was great to watch the waves from the upstairs outside deck. The house has lots of space and is in a great location.

Perfect for a large group to stay in comfort
The house was lovely. Masses of space, well equipped, great location close to beach and downtown. Everything was super clean. Can't wait to come and stay here again. Only slight complaint is that eating space was a little cramped -- small table and four chairs not really enough for a house this size. But otherwise it was perfect for a large group.

Wonderful house - Fantastic Location
We stayed here with a group of 7 people and it was the perfect sized house for large parties. The house is very centrally located within a 5-10 min walk to the beach. The house was very clean and cozy. The only downfalls about this house were the basement level was a tad bit musty but opening the windows helped with this. The second thing is the TV situation - there is only one small TV located in the basement and one in the master bedroom on the top floor. This house isn’t movie night friendly but this was ok for us as there is so many other things to do. The owner of the house was very friendly and responsive to all our needs. Overall, I highly recommend this house for larger groups. We had a blast!

Beautiful house near Manzanita Beach
This was a great place for us to travel during COVID with our daughter and son-in-law and adult son. The living space (top floor) is very comfortable. Everything worked well, and we liked being out on the deck as much as possible. Located just 1-1/2 blocks from the beach, we enjoyed watching kite-surfers and taking long walks, sometimes multiple times a day. We also hiked up Neahkahnie Peak and explored Nehalem State Park. You can walk to the small downtown area in 10 minutes or so. There are plenty of beds for kids if you brought them.

Great stay!
We had a great time in Manzanita. The house is quiet, located within walking distance to town and the beach. Easy drive to surrounding towns. I suggest booking thru VRBO and not EVOLVE, as EVOLVE was difficult to contact. However, the house host was wonderful. One thing I didn’t agree with was the extra $30 cleaning fee due to COVID. I’m a healthcare provider and personally I think the cleaning between renters should be the same, COVID or not. GI bugs and flu and just generally cleanliness are no different.

Great house and location
This house is in a great location closer to the beach than it seems. It does have 3 separate levels so a lot of stairs, and the lowest level is a bit musty. But, that's expected at the coast. The house is clean, kitchen well equipped and laid out, and the main deck is really nice. We would stay here again if we had enough people to share the cost. Minor critiques: some of the windows didn't have screens so we didn't open them to avoid pest entry, and it would be nice to have access to the garage.

All the comforts of home
We really enjoyed staying in this cozy, clean and quiet place. It felt so familiar, like we were staying at a family member's house. The TV situation isn't the greatest (the one in the bedroom only got 1 channel and the one in the basement felt too far away), so we didn't have a movie night as planned, but we enjoyed snuggling and reading books together on the couches. The beach and town were just short walks away.

So comfortable that we feel like we're at home!
This is the second time we've stayed here. We absolutely love this home. So cozy and has everything we needed for a perfect beach weekend in October. There needs to be a separate category for homes like this-- super clean and relaxing! We have stayed in many VRBOS, and this is by far the best. The description truly represents the property--no disappointment here!

Fantastic Family Fun
This house was perfect. With six adults and two small children, the three separate sleeping areas kept everyone happy. Very clean and well equipped. The kitchen was well stocked and the local grocery store had everything else we needed. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the ocean air was superb. Overall, the house was very, very comfortable and well kept.

Beautiful home. Spent four days with my two children and three grandkids. Three floors meant each had privacy. The house was cozy and inviting. The deck provided a view of the ocean. The house was very clean and has a well equipped kitchen. There were sufficient sheets and towels. An easy walk to the lovely little town. In all, it was a relaxing and very enjoyable vacation.

Great house: super clean, well-stocked kitchen, lots of space, and more!
We had a great first visit to Manzanita. The House was excellent except for the fact that the fireplace wasn’t usable. This was disappointing because it was one of the features we looked for due to the rainy forecast. It is due to chimney repairs, so if this is something important to you, check with the owner before renting. Everything else about the house was great though. The beds were comfy; the kitchen had everything we needed for when we decided to cook; there were games and books galore; you can see the ocean; and the owners clearly take good care of everything. It was cozy and definitely a place we’d rent again.

Great location + Good for Groups
We had a big group and the house worked out great for our different needs. We were a family of four, a couple and one other friend. The house has three distinct levels each with its own bedrooms and bathrooms, so it worked out perfectly for our large group. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The only downside is that the fireplace wasn't working for our stay - hopefully that will get fixed soon. I would recommend this property to those with a big group. The location was also great - could walk to town and the beach in moments.
