Great location - quiet, peaceful, safe. The accommodations looked exactly as pictured online. The bed was the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in and we’ve been using VRBO for years. Perfect for a couple and had everything we needed.

Great relaxing stay
Fantastic little apartment! We stayed for a concert this weekend and it was easy to find and convenient to everywhere we wanted to go! We weren’t able to sit on the deck any due to rain but very nice and relaxing inside! Bed was beyond comfy and I slept like a baby! We will be back!

Nice place and great location
Enjoyed our stay. Drove to DC to visit and see the National Mall. Easier than mass transit. Location is good for restaurants and groceries. The trees and surrounding area are beautiful.

Perfect Spot!
This suite was perfect! It came with everything we needed and was big enough for myself, husband and 10 month old son. It is close to everything including DC (about 40 min). It was wonderful to stay outside of the hustle and bustle. We would stay here again.

We so enjoyed our getaway. The property was lovely. It was very quiet, peaceful, comfortable and beautiful. It is located in a very nice neighborhood on a large wooded lot so it feels very private. Thank you for sharing your home!

Wonderful Above Garage Retreat in Great Neighborhood
Stayed here while looking for a place for our son in Alexandria, which was about 45 minutes away by car with traffic, but this place is well worth the drive since it is a beautifully appointed unit above the owner's 2nd garage and an exclusive neighborhood in Manases. Monica and David, the owners, were great! Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip
Very peaceful and private area. Clean and well decorated, equipped with what we needed for our stay. Provided directions were easy to follow and the garage to park in was a nice added touch for convenience. We came to visit DC which was about a 30 minute drive from the property including traffic, and attend a concert in Bristow which was just 20 minutes away. Great central location for our trip. We would definitely come and stay again when we come back this way!

Perfect for what we needed
First the loft is in a wonderful, quite neighborhood and Monica is very attentive on the lead up. We were in town house hunting for an upcoming move and she was fabulous with recommendations. The space itself is very cosy and private, with Monica and her husband giving us plenty of physical and mental separation, but checking in enough (via txt) to ensure we had everything we needed. Given the stress of seeing 15 houses in 2 days and putting offers in etc trying to close a deal in 4 days... it was a much needed respite from life. Thanks again Monica.

Wow, what a great location. The feeling of being in the wilderness but close to a lot of attractions. The 1 bedroom unit with a sofa sleeper was perfect for our family, its fully equiped with everything you need for your stay. Also their dining sugestions are great. we ate at CJ Finz seafood, it was outstanding. There's a ton to do in DC, but if you have the time the Shenandoah National Park is a must. Enjoy as we did

A piece of serenity
Spent three weeks at Monica's wonderful guest house. The setting was wonderful - very secluded and woodsy. The guest house is above the garage and you have exclusive use of the huge garage during your stay. Although the guest house is connected to the main house via a breezeway, it has a very private feel. After spending days chasing a 2 year old around and helping our daughter with a new baby, the solace and quiet was great for grandma and grandpa. It had everything we needed and the location was great. Clean and modern. Zero complaints...many, many positives. Monica was responsive and available and never intrusive. Perfect host.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful Place!
We came to visit our niece who lives in the area. Monica’s guest house was perfect. A picturesque gem surrounded by trees and landscape in a neighborhood off the beaten path but yet close to all the things to do in the area. Complimentary wine and a very comfy bed made our stay just right. I would recommend to anyone.

Peaceful Relaxation
This lovely apartment offers sparkling cleanliness, attractive decorating, and the option of keeping a wide berth from other people. The separate garage (accessed by a security code provided in advance) leads to a separate entrance and staircase to the quarters. The vibe is quiet, with lots of nature around. Monica is available and helpful by phone as needed. The unit is well supplied with fresh linens, fluffy robes, kitchen utensils, and coffee. Microwave, coffee maker, substantial toaster oven, and electric hot plate are provided. The space was fine for two adults, who stayed three nights and spent the days exploring nearby parks -- Mason Neck, Pohick Bay, Bull Run Regional Park. We enjoyed carry-out meals from local restaurants. This is a wonderful place to relax and let cares go.
