The price was fair, but nothing fancy about the place, nothing seems to have been updated/upgraded. Heater didn't work when I checked in, had to fix it myself by removing the front panel and hitting the reset button. Very dark in there, many of the lights I couldn't get to work. TV is extremely small and on a shelf that is at a 90 degree angle from the couch. Had to move it to the coffee table in order to see what was on the screen. Location is great, nothing to complain about there.

Not a single response from property manager. Walked into bed unmade and looked slept in. Sheets, pillows, and blankets laying across couch. Crumbs on the counter, towels looked used and hung on the side of the wall. Was too scared to open the sofa couch. Left night ealry out of disgust.

Rethink this unit
We were open to staying in a vintage style cabin. We understood some of the stuff was aged but it was more than that. The sink in the master room was missing pieces of wall with exposed insulation and the frame of the unit. The restroom has mold going in the shower and the toilet was balanced with pieces of wood. Cheap rental without the cheap price
This place was falling apart. Practically everything looked original from the 70s with the drywall falling down in the bathroom and the carpet ripped and peeling up. The oven barely worked and the shower tub was cracked. The instructions for the heater were written on the wall and were incorrect. The host took 22 hours to reply and we spent the first night with just the fireplace in the corner for heat. The listing incorrectly said there were a washer and dryer. There's no washer and dryer in the unit, it's a coin op in another building and coins are not included. So be prepared to walk through the snow and pay extra if you need to do laundry. Listing said there was a private pool, definitely no private pool, just the community pool in another building. Listing also said it's on a lake, no.lake. We paid almost 300 a night for a place worse than a motel 6.

This condo was discussing dead mouse in the toylet mice droppings on the bed including the pillows. Mice droppings on the kitchen counter emailed the owner with photos with no reply. I warn people to stay way from this place. Woke up feeling sick the days there. No extra toylet paper or garbage bags. I think we cleaned more when we got there then any place I ve been horrible experience.

All about the Benjamins and I mean that in a Good Way
The property is one of the most reasonable one bedroom condos in Mammoth. I was pleased with almost everything and other reviewers should keep the price point in mind. Two issues keep the rating a little low. MAJOR: the mattress is way past its expiration date and needs to be replaced. Minor: in hot weather an exhaust fan would be appreciated.

Internet issues
The place is extremely dated and is in need of some upgrades. For the most part everything was great - we were warm and comfortable after a long day on the slopes. The only negative we had is the internet was not working when we arrived. I contacted the host and they were unable to help. They told us to find a kid to help us. The internet didn’t work our entire stay.

The property wasn't particularly clean. We found multiple dead flies lying around as well as a lot of dust. Under the sink we found some used toothbrushes. The kitchen has no microwave. Many of the light switches don't work and the overall interior is quite dark. Maybe to hide some of the dirt. The coffee maker had a lot of visible mold. Just overall old and dark. The spa was fantastic though. The location is great. Easy access to grocery stores and a short drive to the ski area. The spa/jacuzzi is quite large and we never had problems with overcrowding.

"Old school" digs in a great location
The place is old, but the location is great. Our ski trip was planned very last-minute and this place was (much) more affordable than the (very) few other options still available. We knew it was a bit old from the pics and other reviews before we booked, so didn't expect much. The host was great in communications re: check in and responded quickly to another question we had. It's ideally located... near entrance to town, so didn't have to worry as much about impact of incoming snowstorm. Very close to two different grocery stores, as well as restaurants and entertainment along Old Mammoth Rd. We appreciated the hot tub and sauna at the complex. The place had most of the basic stuff you need to cook, but it is all pretty old/limited if you plan on cooking a lot (we did). The new pullout couch was nice and my son said it was comfy to sleep on. The rest of the interior could use some updates as it's a bit dated (especially if you're planning on staying inside most of the time). But it served it's purpose and we enjoyed our stay there.

Spend your hard-earned dollars elsewhere!
This place is worn down. Be aware! The description of the place as vintage rustic kinda place isn’t accurate. The whole place smells like mold. The clock didn’t work. There was no microwave. The carpet had stains everywhere we were wearing our shoes walking around the place the whole time. The bedroom closet has multiple open holes on the wall, looked like there was an old shower but a working sink, all inside the closet. The whole place needs to be fixed and remodeled. It’s a shame this place is being rented out like as is. The only good thing about this place is the pull out sofa that looked newer and its strategic location. We go to Mammoth every season and have stayed at many condos there, this by far is the worst stay for the money you pay.

Great host and nice stay perfect for a ski weekend!

Our stay at Mary's Sierra Manor Condo
We had a lovely overall stay at Mary's Sierra Manor Condo! The pictures are accurate, price affordable and location is convenient. This is not a luxury condo but more of a rustic and classic ski cabin feel. The entire space needs a bit of a face lift as everything seems to be untouched from the 80s but hey, you're spending most of your time on the mountain so it doesn't matter!

Great Location
We loved the location of this place! Everything was as pictured and described. We had everything in the kitchen we needed, bed was comfortable and check in and out was very easy. It was a great home base while adventuring in Mammoth! Mary got us check in information early which made everything a breeze! Will definitely be checking this place out next time we visit!

Excellent Valentine’s Weekend
Me and my girlfriend chose this property for a weekend getaway to mammoth on Valentines Weekend and it was perfect. Great location in town, very easy to get to as well as close to the ski areas and the price was great as well. Best value for money spent on any trip I’ve taken in my opinion.
