We recently stayed at the SO/ Maldives Resort and wanted to share my feedback to help improve future guest experiences.
1. Room Reservation Issue:
I booked a water villa specifically for a private vacation with my husband. However, upon arrival, the room I booked was unavailable, and I was offered an upgrade to share a larger house with my friends. While the villa was stunning, it did not provide the privacy I was seeking, which was a key reason for choosing your resort.
2. Boat Transfer Experience:
Our group had arranged a private boat transfer. Unfortunately, on the return trip to the airport, we had to share the boat with other guests due to a delay in my checkout process. This resulted in other guests yelling at me for making them late, which was a stressful and unpleasant experience to end the vacation.
I appreciate the beauty of the resort and the effort put into making it luxurious, but these issues detracted from the privacy and exclusive experience I was expecting.
I hope you take this feedback into account to improve service consistency for future guests.
