“This was a wonderful Stay for us weary and weathered travellers. A perfect apartment with all mod cons and amenities. A comfy bed, two bathrooms, a great kitchen, nice living room and to top it all off, the added bonus of a large balcony. The apartment in the old Asylum, very reminiscent of a stately home, made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Robert was very helpful, kind and facilitated our stay a great deal. “The property was very clean and well maintained, but the walk down from the car park to the hut site was a bit of a trek, and very badly maintained owing to the fact it was a public footpath , and the access path through the gate was very precarious other than that it was an excellent base for Leeds castle and other attractions,the accommodation was in excellent order and very peaceful.”

“A wonderful cottage and a very nice interior. Ric as a host was absolutely easygoing und caring. Any request he answered within shortest time, which made us feel welcome and looked after very well. The cottage is very spacious and it was a terrific idea to change one of the former bedrooms into a huge bathroom. Heating and fireplace was working perfectly. We had ten wonderful days in Whitstable, where we come to for new year for nearly twenty years now ...”

“The house was great for our party of 2 families. We had plenty of space and the house is very well equipped. A lovely clean house and great communication with the host. We enjoyed exploring the local area and the house was located well for this. The driveway down had lots of bumps and pot holes which you need to be careful of especially in the dark but other than this wouldn’t change a thing.”

“Can’t recommend this place enough. We had a fantastic stay here for New Year’s Eve. The photos don’t do the place justice - it has so much space, and so much character.
