The building has over 150 years old but has been completely restructured, staying comfortable apartments. Perfect for sightseers
The apartment is ideal for anyone wanting to see the sights of Madrid. It's very near several metro stations, but it's within walking distance of almost all of Madrid's major attractions. The hosts were very accommodating, and the facilities were excellent. I would highly recommend it.

The stay was in a young active area close to all conveniences . Lacking on some amenities in kitchen. Hosts were readily available by phone. Take a nap and stay up late. Night life was terrific !

Awesome Apartment in Awesome Neighborhood
Words elude me to explain my stay in Madrid. It was our first time there and it exceeded our expectations. The apartment was great. Obviously we did not spend a lot of time there because we were sightseeing a lot. The apartment had everything we needed and expected. We knew ahead of time everybody dried their clothes on racks or clothes lines outside. We cooked a lot while we were there. That is where it got really interesting. There were two grocery stores in opposite directions within two blocks of us. The walks there were memorable and fun. Discovered bars, restaurants and dessert shops along the way. I walked in the evenings around the neighborhood. It is so SAFE. There are security cameras on the streets and a strong police presence. There is a theater two blocks up that was showing the musical Chicago. We walked to the Sofia Museum. Just a 7-10 minute walk was the Sol Plaza and Metro Station. Just being there with the neon lights on was a treat in itself. I wish we could have spent more time in Madrid. Loved it. And the apartment was fantastic. Will stay here again if I can make it back.

Excellent central location
This was a great apartment for a couple wanting to explore Madrid. It was comfortable and well equipped, excellent WiFi, very secure, and a nice, lively neighborhood. Our hosts were friendly and very responsive when we had questions.

Fantastico soggiorno a due passi dal centro
Il soggiorno presso questa casa è stato fantastico. Alfonso si è rivelato una fantastica guida, ha saputo darci informazioni utilissime per il nostro soggiorno a Madrid ed è stato disponibile a rispondere a tutte le nostre domande. Nulla da ridire della casa, ha tutto il necessario ed è pulitissima. Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 persone, i due letti sono comodi: il divano letto in sala è un po' più grande rispetto al matrimoniale in camera quindi vi consiglierei il primo in caso durante il sonno vi muoviate parecchio. Se avrò l'occasione di tornare a Madrid mi piacerebbe sicuramente alloggiare nuovamente nel suo appartamento. Consigliato al 100%. A presto Alfonso, ci vediamo in Italia!

Lovely flat in a great neighbourhood
This is a lovely flat located in a convenient and lively neighbourhood. It was within a 15 minute walk to all major attractions: museums, shopping, restaurants, bars, metro stations, and Atocha station. The flat was clean, attractively decorated and very comfortable for our 4-night stay. A very nice 24-hour supermarket is 5 minutes away. We enjoyed meeting our hosts Alfonso and Francesca and their 2 charming children. Alfonso went out of his way to highlight his favourite restaurants and places of interest and even explained the tapas culture to us. Being from North America this was very useful. If we ever come back to Madrid we would definitely stay here again!

Great Value and location
My husband and I visited Madrid for the 1st time. We had a wonderful visit and the apartment was perfect. Located less then 5 min walking to Sol and pretty much every attraction was approx 10 to 15 of walking distance. Metro close by also. The apt. Was clean and had everything we needed. Recommend 2 bring earplugs if a light sleeper but I imagine it's like that anywhere you would stay in a city and an old building. Definitely recommend and would come back again😄

Alfonso a été très accueillant et très gentil. Il a répondu à toutes nos questions. Appartement confortable ayant tout l’équipement requis. Salle de bain parfaite. Très bien situé : épicerie, restaurant et bar à 50 mètres. Les Musées sont à distance de marche. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour en septembre 2016 et vous recommandons cet appartement. Für Leute die gerne mitten im Geschehen sind, ist diese Ferienwohnung optimal. Sie befindet sich Fußläufig zu den belebten Straßen Madrids und ist gut mit der Metro zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet und sauber. Der Vermieter (Alfonso) hat uns bei der Schlüsselübergabe die sehenswerten Orte und besten Restaurants auf einer Karte eingezeichnet und Tips zu Madrid gegeben. Wir können die Wohnung nur weiter empfehlen.

Decisamente consigliato!
Famiglia con figli. Appartamento ben tenuto, pulito, semplice e comodo, in una ottima zona centrale. Ideale per esplorare Madrid, ben servito dai mezzi e a distanza di cammino da Puerta del Sol e Plaza Mayor, con un comodo supermercato sempre aperto. Padroni di casa molto cordiali e disponibili.

Este hospedaje tiene todas las comodidades que uno busca, excelente ubicacion, muy cerca de las estaciones del metro, limpio, amplias habitación, totalmente remodelado, excelente precio y sobre todo un buen anfitrion el Sr. Alfonso y su esposa Franchesca, ambos estaban pendientes de orientarme y recomendarme sitios para visitar en Madrid, realmente volveria a hospedarme con Ustedes cuando regrese.
