Getting Around:
To reach Maria Guarda Island in Bahia, Brazil, the most common route is via boat or speedboat departing from Madre de Deus. The journey is short, typically around 15 minutes, depending on the type of vessel and departure point. Accessible only by boat/launch.
Regular transport available from the terminal in Madre de Deus, hourly from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Private boat available anytime for an extra cost. The crossing takes about 12 minutes.

Access requires using stairs.
Surveillance devices are present on the property (external areas).
No parking available on-site.
The most important House Rules are:
* Silence from 10pm till 8am
* A list of full names + passports or id # is required up to 10 days before check-in
* At check-in, everything is in very good shape. You must inform of any irregularity or details in the first 24 hours
* Children from 0 to 12 years old are not allowed in the property
* No visitors allowed
* Only listed guests can sleep over
* Intended use is residential only
* Drugs and prostitution are strictly forbidden
* Building or Condominium internal regulations must be fully respected
* No external sound systems, amplifiers, etc. are allowed.
* We are not responsible for third-party outages such as water, electricity, cable, internet
* Bookings of length period from 15 nights or greater pay electricity bill as an extra
* Returning the keys with delay at check-out without our prior approval can incur in a charge of 2 night's rent
* Rules breaches will be penalized by the full amount of security deposit, per event, plus any loss or fines and can result in eviction with no right to refunds.

We like welcoming guests in person, leaving you as comfortable and independent as possible during your stay, while always being available when/if you need a help or suggestion from us.
