Beautiful rooms right in the middle of downtown Macon. There is NO lobby to check in - you are emailed a code to get to your room. Sooo, remember the room number you book!! Half of the rooms enter from an alleyway and are street level and the other half off of a main street on the second floor with a dedicated key pad. Beautifully decorated.

The room I had was nice and included a mini-fridge, keurig and some snacks. It was also right next door to a restaurant and several others were within walking distance. I would stay here again if in the area.

The room had everything you needed. The quill was lovely. The only thing I’d mention similar to other reviews that it is self check in. So keep an eye on your phone. The parking space nearby was good and great that it’s included in the price. Again if downstairs you need to unpack in the alley but it doesn’t have much traffic and wasn’t a problem. The second floor in the parking garage was steep but the room was perfect and couldn’t fault the stay or experience we had! Really convenient, clean and had any amenity you could ever need.

Funky check in procedure but great location. Only real downside was the tv had no local options and all other stations required sign in protocols with passwords.

We had a rocky start to our stay as we didn't see anything about the hotel being contactless, nor the fact that there was no elevator for 2nd floor rooms. I contacted Ashley and she was absolutely fantastic! She was above to get us a 1 floor room for our 2 night stay, and since this was the end of a long travel day, her resolution was much appreciated! The room was great and there are a ton of things to do and places to eat within walking distance!

Our stay was so pleasant. We loved Quill and its staff. Obviously everything is automated, but I would have liked a responses to a booking question from a person also. It was an unlikely scenario to be repeated. I would easily stay here again.

The location and the hotel was amazing. The only bad part is that they have no elevators so if you have any back issues or have any kind of injury, you can’t go up the stairs and down the stairs with your luggage.
