“Great staff and surroundings. We stayed in the back house but very nice. Sat out in sun on porch to read with back patio between big house and our house( 9 rooms ). No coffee in room but asked for some and it was brewed fresh in 5 mins. Beautiful 200 yr old mansion. Loved it - close to downtown for concert. Love the old town area and Phenominal older homes. Great place to stay with character rather than simply a Holiday Inn -type with gym/pool etc. AN EXPERIENCE YOU WILL CHERISH!!!”

“Friendly greeting and send off from staff. Comfortable bed with blanket instead of those heavy comforters or duvees so many hotels are using now. Room heated up quickly after we set the temperature for a chilly day. Good breakfast and close to several places to eat.”

“We were a little skeptical when we booked this hotel because the price was very reasonable but because of the good reviews we took a chance. We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms had an entrance from inside the hotel. The person checking us in was very pleasant. We asked for a 1st floor room because they do not have elevators and they were very accommodating. The room was as nice as some we have paid a lot more for. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning……
