The parking was terrible. Kids throwing food from their balconys on cars getting tons of seagulls all around us. The parking lot is tiny. But other than that it was a nice quick stay.

Convenience to shopping, dinning, and the Ferry to the island were great! Main floor room access was good, however the room desperately needs updating for the price. Wallpaper pulling in several spots, Closet w/o door that had the access to the shower plumbing panel falling towards the clothes hanging. Giant king size bed was comfortable, but the headboard that was solid wood w/ tall posters had dust in every crack and carved design making it appear unkept and unclean. The bathroom was large, but if someone in a wheelchair would not be able to wheel into the shower as it is a tub shower that has no traction on the bottom so watch out if you use hair conditioner. Parking was tight, but accomidating. Noise overhead sounded like a bowling alley at times, but once you turned on the tv not as noticeable. I would try a different room upstairs next time as those appeared to be more updated.

It was dirty and smells, kids running up and down the halls pounding on doors. No housekeeping ! If you want to use the microwave you had to uplug the refridgerator or the coffee pot to have a place to plug in the microwave ! Not good !!

Room door barely closed, could not lock properly. Bathroom door scrapped against the floor, 4th floor windows did not latch together, very noisy, room smelled of chlorine since it was above the water playpark. No breakfast service and no room service the 4 days i was there.

We stayed in a Lakeview room, which was clean, thanks to the housekeeper. The The waterpark and the pool were good, and they are fun for little kids, but they may have to make some safety improvements. For the dollar value, I would say it is worth it.

Spent a whole week here for my vacation with my husband and two kiddos, we didn’t have a single issue. Room was super clean, staff was friendly. i enjoyed my stay and we’ll definitely be back.

The front desk person when we checked in was no accommodating, we got there @ 4:30 & our room wasn’t ready she told us to come back at five. We came back at 5:30 still wasn’t done. We had a couple of very little kids that needed to rest. My daughter talked with her finally she got in around 6 but she said we’d have to move rooms the next day. I asked to talk to a manager later on because we had several little kids moving would be a pain. The manager the next day said we could stay in that room. I was pleased with that.! 👍 Other than that, the property was nice. We had a good time.

My family stayed at the Crown Choice for 2 days for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was a first time for our children now young adults to Visit Mackinaw Island, It overall was a good investment, while it does need some up dating it was clean and the staff offset the small inconveniences by leaps and bounds-Extremely Friendly and very curious, they displayed openly they truly cared that you enjoyed your visit. I “Will” visit again and I will stay at the Crown Choice our next time and probably many times in the future, there is no such thing as perfection when staying away from home, personally being a business owner I can say it offered everything we needed, Thanks to the Staff of the Crown Choice. The hotel rooms and staff were good. However, there was a large hole in the center of the parking lot with, what looked like, a large broken metal sewer pipe in it. This area flooded during the rainstorm and the hole flooded and was not visible to cars using the lot. The hotel could have at least put up some cones to warn people.

This hotel facility is very dirty. There is no deluxe gym or breakfast area. There is nothing deluxe. The water park was filthy and had green algae all over. The property was dusty. Do not stay here.
