“The cabin was immaculate,we came for some music at the Floyd Country Store, some hiking and to visit some wineries; visited 3 wineries with some nice varietals each a little different, some morning hikes and evening music-weather was great and unseasonable warm for November, will likely visit agin in the dead of winter or early spring.”

“We have stayed here twice. Like it so much we have already rented it for next year. It has always been clean. The beds are comfortable. The host is great. It's stocked with necessities you might firget ti pack. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place!”

“My husband and I loved this little cabin overlooking the many meadows out back and with Buffalo Mountain in the distance. The night sky was full of stars without the ambient light of a more densely populated area - so beautiful. The peace and quiet was just what we needed to fully relax. The cabin was wonderful- clean, cozy, comfortable and with a well-appointed kitchen that had everything needed for our Thanksgiving meal. Thankfully, we didn’t need to get in touch with our hostess, Tristi,……

“The home is so inviting, comfy and full of history. The water is mesmerizing and tranquil. The area is surrounded by majestic mountains, walking trails that lead to serene waterfalls and an abundance of wildlife. It is like stepping into a little piece of heaven!”

The arrival instruction pdf and communications with Mr. Jim were second to none. We truly loved this location, the scenic drive and the ease to Mt. Airy made the 30min drive no issue. This is definitely a place we would use again when we return to visit Mt. Airy / Pilot Mtn. Thanks for sharing the cabin, Mr Jim.”

“This was a mini version log cabin of our parents place in Lowgap, NC….warm, easy, welcoming! Easy to Lowgap and a visit to familiar places and faces. The Autum Leaves craft festival in Mount Airy was amazing. Recommend the location and management company.”
