The resort is not exactly as advertised. The bathroom tiles (floor and wall tiles) are old and moldy. We booked a suite with balcony, and everything is falling apart (the chairs, door, desk, phone, tables, and lamps). The waterfall pool is nice, but you can't see the bottoms of the pool and the external tile is moldy. The hotel needs a facelift.
We booked a room with two beds, but they gave us one bed. We asked one of the managers for a room with 2 beds, but they suggested one of us sleep on the bed and the other on the sofa until a room with two beds is available. We never got a room with two beds.
Some of the staff lack professionalism and they use the hotel to advertise their own businesses. The head of guest relations services was very rude (I think his name is Fares). From the moment we arrived, he spent 19 minutes to talk to us about his personal beauty products business and Spa. He offered to take us to his place of business so we can buy stuff from his store. We asked him if the hotel offers spa services, and he told us it's too expensive.
He also provided us a list of his services that included:
- Round trip to the Dead Sea for 100JD.
- Drop off to Rainbow Street from the hotel and back for about for 85JD
- He offered to Take us to the Airport for 85JD (one way).
We asked him if the hotel offer shuttles/car services and he said the hotel has two cars, but it's not free. We asked for the price list of the hotel's car services but he declined. He suggested we ut
